About Us.

If you are looking for a Pediatrician in El Paso, Texas, we welcome you to our practice!

The right pediatrician can make a big difference in your child’s health and well being.  Your child deserves excellent medical care from the day you deliver your precious newborn until they go off to college. Here at our office, we are devoted in providing you with high quality pediatric care in a warm and caring environment.

We want to be your “medical home” and serve each and every one of your child’s medical needs.  We want to be the place that you turn for routine yearly check-ups and vaccinations as well as to provide superior care when your child is ill or injured.  If we can’t solve your child’s medical issues ourselves, we will help you to find a specialist.  Our goal is to keep our patients healthy, out of the emergency room and out of the hospital unless absolutely necessary.

We consider it a privilege to serve you and your family. We consider it an honor and a privilege to help your family make the journey of raising children a joyous one.

LEADERSHIP

Ricardo Reyna, MD

Hello! I’m Ricardo Reyna and want to share a little about myself and our new practice. One of the most common questions I get asked is “Why did you want to become a doctor and why a Pediatrician?” Well the short story is that it all began on December of 1996. It was that time, that my life and family would be dramatically altered. It was on that month, that my fourteen-year-old younger and only brother was diagnosed with cancer called osteogenic sarcoma. This event literally changed the course and direction of my life and placed me on the path of becoming a physician.

It was during this unfortunate diagnosis that I started to comprehend how profound a love for a loved one could actually be. I learned about compassion, about care, about kindness, about concern, about empathy, about relationship, about the love of a parent towards their children. Being on the receiving end of medical care, I began to realize what true care should entail.

During my first semester of medical school, my brother passed away. Part of me died with my brother because part of me lived in him but by the same token part of him continues to live through me. That part that lives in me has motivated and inspired me to even have started this journey of being a physician and now has sustained me through this miraculous journey in medicine to hopefully help touch other people’s lives by giving back. While my decision to become a pediatrician encompasses many factors, one of the most important factors is my desire to be a reference point to other families by teaching young patients and their parents about their ailments and how they too can conquer hardships.

I choose to honor my brother’s life by pursuing and finishing a career in medicine. His young life made profound impact on mine and my hope is that thru my career as a Pediatrician, I too will make a difference and impact in the life of another, like my brother has made in mine. I am excited for the opportunity to be your pediatrician and I believe that together we can make this journey a joyous one. I look forward to serving you and your family!
